Living legally in Schengen? Study Management in English at WSEI Lublin.

How it works, no small print

    Send your details

    Tell us your nationality, the country where you live now and which residence document you hold, with its expiry date. A person checks your case before anything else.

    WSEI admits you

    Online registration, entrance test (Pretest) and verification of your school certificate. You pay the fees directly to the university.

    You move to Poland

    With a valid residence permit or a valid long-stay (type D) visa issued by another Schengen country you can generally stay in Poland for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This stay does not give you the right to work in Poland.

    You apply for the residence permit

    While you are still staying in Poland legally, you apply online through Poland's MOS portal for a temporary residence permit for full-time studies. You need a PESEL number and a trusted profile first, and you must be in Poland on the day you apply, so we plan every step inside your 90 days. The voivode decides, and the decision is not guaranteed.

    You study and may work

    Once you receive your Polish residence card for studies, as a full-time student of a university approved by the Polish Ministry of the Interior (WSEI is on the list) you may work without a separate work permit. Studying remains the main purpose of your stay.

What we will never tell you

  • We charge you nothing: not for admission, not for documents, not for a job.
  • Tuition goes straight to the university account, never to us.
  • A residence permit or visa from another Schengen country does not let you work in Poland. Do not start any job before you receive your Polish residence card.

What you need

  • Valid passport: valid at least 3 months after your planned departure and issued within the last 10 years
  • A valid residence card or long-stay (type D) visa from a Schengen country. A receipt or confirmation of a pending application does not count, and neither do cards from Cyprus or Ireland
  • Secondary school certificate, legalised or with an apostille
  • English at B2 level (certificate or a diploma from a school teaching in English)
  • Health insurance covering medical costs in Poland
  • Proof of funds for tuition, living costs (currently over PLN 1,010 a month after housing) and your return journey
